SALA

 

This sedimentary limestone from eastern morocco illustrates a waxed concrete effect when honed and brings out a layer effect when brushed, playing with contrast and depth on a randomly shaped background. 

Usable both indoors and outdoors, the identity of Sala lies in the desire to bring together past and present in the same material where age and contemporary intertwine by highlighting each other by contrast.
